The Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology offers all modern applications of orthopedics science. Academic staff members who are specialists in other clinical sub-branches both teach and monitor the modern treatment services given to patients. The clinic offers treatment services aimed at diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. Hip, knee, shoulder and ankle joint replacements (prostheses) as well as partial knee replacements are performed with success. All types of spinal surgery (fractures, scoliosis, narrow spinal canal and vertebroplasy-kyphoplasty) can be performed. Sports surgery is offered at international standards while knee, shoulder, hip and ankle arthroscopic surgery is also carried out. Congenital disabilities and all pediatric orthopedic problems are treated at the clinic.
